why are peas not allowed? They’re peas….
The paleo thinking on peas and legumes listed on the sheet is that they have anti-nutrients that outweigh the benefits.

Question…I’m going to be in PEI next weekend. If I do a WOD (the one of the day if possible) do I get a point for that?? It’s not technically in the gym BUT it’s a WOD.
You could also look up a CF gym in PEI and drop in.

There’s a great group on FB that I follow that shares some really great paleo recipes, search paleOMG, it’s good. If you’re on Pinterest, they have tons of recipes as well! Good luck with this guys!

That leads to my next question…what if the alcohol is cooked out? Like in a sauce/marinade…?
I think that’s okay but I’d ask a coach lol I know red wine even vinegar to cook with is ok.

I do have a question though: If we sent Jen a recipe or two previously when she asked for them….can we still use those (I have 2) since technically they’re still paleo and technically they can be shared?

I find the challenge to find new recipes or manipulate bad recipes to be Paleo friendly fun. It’s a challenge in itself. I’ve become the cook in the house for most meals (which sucks cause that’s less for me lol). I already have all 30 recipes planned out 🙂 Just need to type them up!!
Can someone tell me if there is a breakfast bar or cereal bar or cookies or anything I can buy on this diet and eat?
The “Apple Lara Bar” works in a pinch. WHy don’t you make egg pucks with some cooked sausage in them. I make 6 at a time and eat two at a time…microwave for a minute then inhale in one more 🙂 25mintes on 325F
Paul, with no honey it’s hard, but I have some tricks up my sleeve – I could make you a paleo care kit… Buuuut you are my competition… Certain Larabars are great and you can get them in the organic section of Superstore, but more sweet than carb-y. Def try some coconut flour pancakes with fruit topping, there are lots of biscuit recipes etc you can make but everything takes a little prep 😉
I just wanna buy it and eat it. When I am on night shifts there is not a lot of time for prep work lol
