Rx Jump Rope Order – Part 2

Let the DU Games begin!

 We have had some interest in placing another order for the Rx Jump Ropes after the last batch arrived. We will be placing the order on Friday, March 29th, 2013. If you are interested in getting in on this order, please post to the Comments section of this post and provide the following information, by Friday:

  • Your colour or pattern for the handles.
  • Your cable length. Rx provides a sizing chart to help determine your cable length
  • Your cable type. Scroll down to the bottom of the Rx Jump Ropes home page and watch the Cable Variations video. They mention either the ‘Buff’ or ‘Elite’ ropes for athletes just getting into acquiring the Double Under skill.

Each full rope is going to shake out to around $45-$50 depending on the handles you choose and once the taxes, exchange, and shipping. We will collect the money when the ropes arrive/get handed out.

If you already have a rope, you have the option of just buying just an extra cable if you wish. The cables will end up costing about $10-$12 each.

    Black Ops / 9’0″ buff 3.4 (neon orange) and 9’0″ elite 2.6 (clear) ropes.

    Does anybody recommend varying from the recommended sizing chart. I see your picking up three lengths Greg.

      I just went with their default sizing recommendation (8’11” cable) to try it out and I’m finding the cable about 1-2″ too short. I didn’t think you could notice 1-2″ difference on a cable length, but it’s night and day to me when attempting double unders.

      I posted my comment before I thought of just testing some of the adjustable ropes at the gym (duh!) so I won’t end up ordering three cables. I’m going to order a longer cable for sure, but will test/measure at the gym first.
