Just me, a ball & the wall this afternoon. No pr’s but happily finished at 6:31.
I had 11 no reps. Basically I try to do the wods with a ghost judge Bard beside me. As I miss a rep I can just see the big “No Rep!!” and her grinchaly smiling while saying it.. lol.

Karen: 8:15 Rx’d (15’s until 9th round got 2 no reps and stopped at 10, then 10 and 10, it felt like too much rest at the beginning but not enough at the end, 3-4 no reps total)
Happy with this as I’m super tired and had a stressful week so far so not at 100%. Good class at 6pm.

My old friend the wall ball. Some time in around 2010 or 2011 I was doing wall balls and they broke my brain. I screamed F and threw my ball at the wall. Since then I made my peace with the wall ball and we had a good long lasting friendship. Then somewhere along the line things became different. We didn’t talk much, if we did it was just “hey…sup”. We could both sense things were changing. Then in the open in 2015 things came to a head (cut to video of Jon doing wall balls in the Open…gasp!). These days things are getting better, we’re forcing each other to discuss our feelings and talk about our frustrations rather then letting it boil over. I’m happy to say that we’re on the right track.
7:38 R’x. Legs were super tight after and still are. pretty happy with the score, feel like I can get it under 7 for sure next time. That’s how I feel.
I’m really glad you and the wall ball could work through your differences!
It must be hard coming to the gym and seeing them in the corner… staring at you.
You two will get through it! Sub 7 for sure, Jon!

Great work everyone! Not a lot (very few in fact) of people can say they did 150 wall balls in one night. The fact that we did it, is enough for me 🙂
