Teddy bear hold practice – once I got these, it felt easy and made me wonder why I couldn’t get them before! PR on the December board!

We were not meant to be on top of our heads… being upside down with all my weight on my arms / wrists is scary. Maybe one day.
Wod: 3+14 with hspu from the box and 100lbs DL.

Went to open gym before class and did the clean complex from yesterday. 135# 3×1.
Hand stand practice. Working on getting up from the teddy bear stance.
Wod: 4 even. Deadlifts, no problem… Arms died halfway through on the hspu. Need to kip harder on the way up.

Handstand practice : accomplished a teddy bear handstand with legs in the air, can’t quite figure out how to push myself up. Also free standing handstand held for 5 seconds
WOD: 4+4 110 lbs deadlift, started with kipping handstand push-ups with 2 ab mats but switched on second round to a 20″box after many failed attempts at kipping them.

Handstand practice : tried a few freestanding handstands – wow, tricky stuff!
Wod : 6 + 6 rx. Chasing Christian’s score. 🙃Almost made it through this wod unbroken, except for the last 2 reps, dammit! 😭
I love Tuesday evening social hour.
Got up in a teddy bear stand… but got a little over zealous trying to straighten out. ha! I didn’t break my neck though. I’ll live to see another day.
WOD was a disappointing 2+3. I’m trying hard to get my head away from the wall during HSPU, but my brain is not allowing me to do that.
